4 Adjusting the Camera to the
Lens Type
A lens with automatic iris control [AI lens or DC
lens (AIS lens)] as well as a lens with manual
iris adjustment can be used.
Set the selector switch IRIS MODE (8) to the
position according to the lens type:

Position ESC: for a lens with manual iris ad-
justment;
the automatic electronic shut-
ter (ESC = Electronic Shutter
Control) is activated
Position VIDEO: for an AI lens
Position DC: for a DC lens
