1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Das Farbkameramodul mit Fixfokus-Objektiv eignet sich für
den Einsatz in Überwachungs- und Alarmanlagen. Dank der
geringen Abmessungen läßt es sich optimal als Türspion oder
versteckte Überwachungskamera verwenden.
2 Wichtige Hinweise zur Montage
Das Modul ist nach der EMV-Richtlinie 89/336/EWG (EMV
= Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit) aufgebaut. Damit es
auch im Betrieb diese Richtlinie erfüllt, muß es in ein abge-
schirmtes Gehäuse eingesetzt und der Ausgang über eine
abgeschirmte Leitung angeschlossen werden. Wird die
EMV-Richtlinie nicht eingehalten, erlischt die Konformitäts-
erklärung.
Schützen Sie das Modul vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zuläs-
siger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40 °C).
Schützen Sie die Linsen des Objektivs unbedingt vor Staub
und sonstiger Verschmutzung. Berühren Sie sie auf gar kei-
nen Fall mit den Fingern.
Wird das Modul zweckentfremdet, falsch angeschlossen
oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventuelle Schä-
den keine Haftung übernommen werden.
Soll das Modul endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen wer-
den, übergeben Sie es zur Entsorgung einem örtlichen Re-
cyclingbetrieb.

1 Applications
The colour camera module with fixfocus lens is suitable for the
use in monitoring and alarm systems. Due to its small dimen-
sions it can be used in an optimum way as a door spy or con-
cealed monitoring camera.
2 Important Notes for the Mounting
The module corresponds to the EMC directive 89/ 336/EEC
(EMC = electromagnetic compatibility). To conform to this
directive also while in operation, the module must be placed
into a shielded housing and the output must be connected
via a shielded cable. If the EMC directive is not complied
with, the declaration of conformity expires.
Protect the module against humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0–40 °C).
The lenses of the lens assembly must be protected against
dust and other impurities and must not be touched with the
fingers in any case.
If the module is used for other purposes than originally
intended, if it is connected in the wrong way or not repaired
by authorized, skilled personnel, no liability can be taken
over for possible damage.
If the module is to be put out of operation definitively, bring
it to a local recycling plant for disposal.

1 Possibilités d'utilisation
Le module caméra couleur avec objectif à focale fixe est conçu
pour une utilisation dans les centrales de surveillance et d'alar-
me. Ses petites dimensions permettent de l'utiliser comme
espion de porte ou comme caméra de surveillance cachée.
2 Conseils importants d'installation
Le module de caméra répond à la norme européenne
89/336/CEE portant sur la compatibilité électromagnétique.
Afin que le module, lorsqu'il est en fonction, y corresponde,
il doit être placé dans un boîtier blindé, la sortie doit être
reliée par un câble blindé. Si les modalités de cette norme
ne sont pas respectées, le module n'est plus en conformité
avec la norme.
Protégez le module de l'humidité et de la chaleur (tempéra-
ture ambiante autorisée 0–40 °C).
Protégez les lentilles de la poussière et de toute autre salis-
sure; en aucun cas, ne touchez jamais les lentilles avec les
doigts.
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommage si
le module est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel
il a été conçu, s'il n'est pas correctement branché ou
réparé.

3 Anschluß des Kameramoduls
Das Modul wird über die 3polige Buchse angeschlossen (sie-
he Abbildung auf der Rückseite):
Pin 1: Anschluß für +12 V (roter Anschlußdraht)
Pin 2: Masse für Stromversorgung und Videoausgang
(schwarzer Anschlußdraht)
Pin 3: Videoausgang (weißer Anschlußdraht)
Am einfachsten ist der Anschluß über das MONACOR-Adap-
terkabel VAC-30 mit Cinch-Kupplung (Videosignal) und Klein-
spannungskupplung (12 V , Mittelkontakt = Pluspol). Das
Kabel wird in die 3polige Buchse des Kameramoduls gesteckt.
3.1 Stromversorgung
Ein elektronisch stabilisiertes 12-V-Netzgerät (z. B. PS-
12CCD oder PS-362ST von MONACOR) mit Pin 1 (+12 V)
und Pin 2 (Masse) verbinden. Dabei auf die richtige Polung
achten. Die Stromaufnahme beträgt ca. 240 mA.
3.2 Videoausgang mit 75-Ω-Kabel
An Pin 3 der Anschlußbuchse die Kabelseele und an Pin 2 die
Abschirmung eines 75-Ω-Koaxialkabels anschließen und die-
ses mit einem oder mehreren Monitoren verbinden. Dabei auf
korrekten 75-Ω-Abschluß am Monitor bzw. bei Serienschal-
tung am letzten Monitor achten.
3.3 Gegenlichtkompensation an/aus
Bei Gegenlicht, d. h. Licht, das direkt oder schräg von vorn auf
das Objektiv trifft, wird das Objekt unterbelichtet. Dies ist auch
der Fall, wenn sich das Objekt vor einem sehr hellen Hinter-
3 Connection of the Camera Module
The module is connected via the 3-pole jack (see figure on the
back page):
Pin 1: connection for +12 V (red wire)
Pin 2: ground for power supply and video output (black wire)
Pin 3: video output (white wire)
The easiest way of connection is via the MONACOR adaptor
cable VAC-30 with phono inline jack (video signal) and low volt-
age jack (12 V , center contact = positive pole). The cable is
plugged into the 3-pole jack of the camera module.
3.1 Power supply
Connect an electronically regulated 12 V power supply (e. g.
PS-12CCD or PS-362ST by MONACOR) with pin 1 (+12 V)
and pin 2 (ground). Watch the correct polarity. The power con-
sumption is approx. 240 mA.
3.2 Video output with 75 Ω cable
Connect to pin 3 of the jack the cable core and to pin 2 the
screen of a 75 Ω coaxial cable and connect this with one or
several monitors. Watch the correct 75 Ω termination at the
monitor or in case of series connection at the last monitor.
3.3 Backlight compensation on /off
The object will be underexposed during backlight (i. e. light
which hits the lens directly or diagonally) or if it is placed in
front of a very light background. This effect will be avoided by
the backlight compensation (BLC): the object will then be suf-
ficiently exposed even in case of backlight.
Lorsque le module de caméra est définitivement retiré du
circuit de distribution, vous devez le déposer dans une
usine de recyclage adaptée.
3 Branchements
Le module est relié par la prise 3 pôles (voir schéma au verso):
pin 1: branchement +12 V (câble rouge)
pin 2: masse pour l'alimentation et la sortie vidéo (câble noir)
pin 3: sortie vidéo (câble blanc)
Nous vous conseillons d'utiliser le cordon adaptateur VAC-30
de MONACOR équipé d'une fiche RCA femelle (signal vidéo)
et d'une fiche DC (12 V , pôle plus = contact médian). Le
cordon se branche dans la prise 3 pôles du module.
3.1 Alimentation
Vous devez relier une alimentation stabilisée 12 V (par exem-
ple, MONACOR PS-12CCD ou PS-362ST) au pin 1 (+12 V) et
au pin 2 (masse). Veillez à respecter la polarité. La consom-
mation est de 240 mA environ.
3.2 Sortie vidéo avec câble 75 Ω
Reliez l'âme d'un câble coaxial 75 Ω au pin 3 de la prise et le
blindage du cable au pin 2. Reliez le cable à un ou plusieurs
moniteurs en veillant au branchement 75 Ω sur le moniteur ou,
dans le cas d'un montage en série, sur le dernier moniteur.
3.3 Marche/Arret de la compensation contre-jour
En cas de contre-jour, c'est-à-dire lorsque la lumière est diri-
gée directement ou verticalement vers l'objectif, l'objet est
grund befindet. Die Gegenlichtkompensation (BLC = backlight
compensation) verhindert diesen Effekt: Das Objekt wird
selbst bei Gegenlicht ausreichend belichtet.
BLC an: Die beiden Steckkontakte für die BLC-Funktion
(siehe Abbildung auf der Rückseite) sind über-
brückt.
BLC aus: Die beiden Steckkontakte für die BLC-Funktion
sind nicht verbunden.
4 Inbetriebnahme
Nach Videoanschluß und Anlegen der 12-V-Versorgungs-
spannung ist das Kameramodul betriebsbereit.
Wenn ein Objekt in ca. 5 m Entfernung nicht scharf genug
abgebildet wird, muß das Auflagemaß korrigiert werden. Die
kleine Schraube am Objektivhalter lösen. Das Objektiv vor-
sichtig so weit drehen, bis das Bild scharf ist. Anschließend die
Schraube wieder festdrehen.
5 Technische Daten
Die technischen Daten sind auf der Rückseite angegeben. Sie
entsprechen den Angaben des Herstellers. Änderungen blei-
ben vorbehalten.

4 Setting into Operation
After carrying out the video connection and applying the 12 V
supply voltage the camera module is ready for operation.
If an object is not clearly reproduced at a distance of
approx. 5 m, the mechanical focus setting must be adjusted.
Loosen the small screw at the lens thread ring. Carefully turn
the lens until the picture is clear. Then tighten the screw again.
5 Specifications
The specifications are listed on the back page. They are
according to the manufacturer and subject to change.

4 Utilisation
Une fois les branchements effectués et le module sous ten-
sion, il est prêt à fonctionner.
Si l'image d'un objet placé à 5 m n'est pas nette, vous
devez procéder à des réglages: dévissez la petite vis sur le
support de l'objectif, tournez ce dernier doucement jusqu'à ce
que l'image soit nette, puis revissez.
