1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Das Schwarzweiß-Subminiaturkamera-Einbaumodul
eignet sich nicht nur für den Einsatz in Über-
wachungs- und Alarmanlagen, sondern wegen der
geringen Abmessungen auch als Türspion, Auto-Ein-
parkhilfe oder versteckte Überwachungskamera. Das
Modul ist betriebsfertig, weist einen Standard-Video-
ausgang auf und benötigt keinerlei Einstellungen.
2 Hinweise zur Montage
•
Das Modul ist nach der EMV-Richtline 89/336/EWG
aufgebaut (EMV = Elektromagnetische Verträglich-
keit). Damit das Modul auch im Betrieb diese Richt-
linie erfüllt, muß es in ein abgeschirmtes Gehäuse
eingesetzt und der Ausgang über eine abge-
schirmte Leitung angeschlossen werden. Wird die
EMV-Richtlinie nicht eingehalten, erlischt die Kon-
formitätserklärung.

Schützen Sie das Modul vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze.
•
Das Objektiv und der CCD-Bildwandler-Chip sind
unbedingt vor Staub und sonstiger Verschmutzung
zu schützen und auf gar keinen Fall mit den Fingern
zu berühren.
•
Wird das Modul zweckentfremdet, falsch angeschos-
sen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für even-
tuelle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.

1 Applications
The black/white subminiature module to be built in is
not only suitable for monitoring and alarm system
applications but due to its small dimensions also suit-
able as a door spy, car parking aid and concealed
monitoring camera. The module is ready for oper-
ation. It has a standard video output and does not
need any adjustments.
2 Mounting notes
•
The module has been constructed according to the
EMC regulations 89/336/EEC (EMC = electro-
magnetic compatibility). To conform to this regula-
tion also while in operation, the module must be
placed in a shielded housing and the output must
be connected via a shielded cable. If the EMC regu-
lations are not complied with, the declaration of
conformity does no longer apply.

Protect the module from humidity and heat.
•
The lens and the CCD image sensor chip are to be
protected from dust and other impurities in any case
and must not be touched with the fingers.
•
If the module is used for other purposes than orig-
inally intended, if it is connected in the wrong way or
not repaired by authorized personnel, no liability
can be taken over for possible damage.

3 Die Anschlüsse der Kamera
Das Modul wird über die 3polige Buchse angeschlos-
sen (siehe Abbildung):
Pin 1: Videoausgang
Pin 2: Masse für Stromversorgung und Videoausgang
Pin 3: Anschluß für +12 V
Am einfachsten ist der Anschluß
MONACOR-Adapterkabel VAC-40 mit Cinch-Kupp-
lung (Videosignal) und Gleichspannungskupplung
(12 V , Mittelkontakt = Pluspol). Das Kabel wird in
die 3polige Buchse des Kameramoduls gesteckt.
3.1 Stromversorgung
Zur Stromversorgung der Kamera ist eine Gleich-
spannung von 12 V zu verwenden, die Stromauf-
nahme beträgt ca. 100 mA. Es ist prinzipiell jedes
elektronisch stabilisierte 12-V-Netzteil mit mindestens
100 mA Belastbarkeit geeignet. Es wird jedoch das
speziell für CCD-Kameras entwickelte Präzisions-
netzteil MONACOR PS-12CCD empfohlen.
3.2 Videoausgang mit 75-Ω-Kabel
An Pin 1 der Anschlußbuchse wird die Kabelseele, an
Pin 2 die Abschirmung eines 75-Ω-Koaxialkabel
angeschlossen und dieses mit einem oder mehreren
Monitoren verbunden. Dabei ist auf korrekten 75-Ω-
Abschluß am Monitor oder bei Serienschaltung am
letzten Monitor zu achten.
4 Inbetriebnahme
Nach Videoanschluß und Anlegen der 12-V-Versor-
gungsspannung ist die Kamera betriebsbereit.
3 The connections of the camera
The module is connected via the 3-pole jack (see fig.):
Pin 1: video output
Pin 2: ground for the power supply and video output
Pin 3: connection for +12 V
The easiest way of connection is made via the
MONACOR adaptor cable VAC-40 with phono in-line
jack (video signal) and DC voltage in-line jack (12 V ,
centre contact = positive pole). The cable is plugged
into the 3-pole jack of the camera module.
3.1 Power supply
For the power supply of the camera use a 12 V direct
voltage, the current consumption is approx. 100 mA.
In general every electronically regulated 12 V power
supply of at least 100 mA current rating is suitable, but
it is recommended to use the precision power supply
MONACOR PS-12CCD especially developed for
CCD cameras.
3.2 Video output with 75 Ω cable
To pin 1 of the jack the cable core is connected, to
pin 2 the screen of a 75 Ω coaxial cable which is
connected with one or several monitors. Watch the
correct 75 Ω termination at the monitor or in case of
series connection at the last monitor.
4 Setting into operation
After the video connection and applying of the 12 V
supply voltage the camera is ready for operation.

4.1 Auflagemaß
Wenn ein Objekt in ca. 5 m Entfernung nicht scharf
abgebildet wird, muß das Auflagemaßes korrigiert
werden. Die kleine Schraube am Objektivhalter lösen.
Das Objektiv vorsichtig so weit drehen, bis das Bild
scharf ist. Anschließend die Schraube wieder fest-
ziehen.

4.1 Mechanical focus setting
If there is no sharp reproduction of an object at a
distance of approx. 5 m, the mechanical focus must
be reset. Remove the small screw at the lens holder.
Carefully turn the lens so far until the picture is sharp.
Then tighten the screw again.
