• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by the manufacturer, authorised service facility or
qualified tradesman.
• Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains
before removing the guard.
Power plug and cord replacement
If the cord is damaged it must, for safety reasons, be replaced by an authorized repairer.
For non-rewireable plugs the fuse cover MUST be refitted when replacing the fuse.
If the fuse cover is lost then the plug must not be used until a replacement can be
obtained. The correct fuse cover is identified by colour.
If a non-rewireable plug is cut off it must be DESTROYED IMMEDIATELY. An electric
shock hazard may arise if an unwanted non-rewireable plug is inadvertently inserted
into a 13A socket outlet.

Installation

1. Unpack the contents from the box and remove the protective plastic wrap.
2. Mount the fan onto the baseplate.
3. Mount the rear grille (4) onto the fan head and lock it with the plastic lock nut (3).
4. Fit the fan blade (2) onto the drive shaft (5). Make sure that the metal lock ring
on the inside of the fan blade surrounds the plastic rim and locks the fan blade
securely onto the drive shaft.
5. Attach the front grille (1) and secure it by folding the two fastening clips over the two
lock tabs and by tightening the grille's retaining screws.
6. Plug the mains lead into an appropriate wall socket.
