THE REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM

Here you get an overview of the remote control system of the Street XXS car and its various functions and settings.
Before the fi rst trip you should be sure all of these functions and settings have read and understood.
Place 3 AA batteries in the battery compartment of the transmitter and 4 fully charged AA-batteries in the battery holder
of the vehicle. Pay attention to the polarity! Close the battery compartment of the transmitter and ensure the battery
holder in the vehicle with a body clip.
Secure the battery holder with a body clip.
BINDING:
The receiver must be „connected" with a transmitter so that it communicates only with this transmitter. This process
is called binding and is only required once for each new transmitter / receiver combination (and can always be repea-
ted).
The XXS series models are shipped already bound, should be a renewed binding necessary, proceed as follows:
• Make sure that no other 2.4GHz network (WLAN) in the immediate vicinity sends.
• The distance between tranmitter - model should not exceed 1 m.
• Switch on the vehicle, the red LED on the receiver starts to fl ash for approx. 5 seconds. Within these 5 sec. do the
following:
• Press and hold the bind button on the transmitter, switch on the transmitter. Now release the bind button, the green
LED begins to fl ash.
• After about 5 seconds all LED's (transmitter, receiver) light up permanently, the transmitter is now bound to the
vehicle.
• If the LED's still fl ashes, repeat the process.
REMOTE CONTROL (TRANSMITTER)
1. ON / OFF switch: Turns the power on/off
2. Steering wheel: Controls direction (left/right) of the model
3. Steering trim: Adjusts the "hands off" direction of the model
4. Steering Dual Rate: adjust the turning radius of the model
5. Throttle Trigger: Controls speed (forward/brake/reverse) of the model
6. Throttle Trim: Adjusts the motor speed to stop at neutral
7. Control light: indicates adequate battery power
The remote control system of the XXS series is optimally adjusted by the factory. Nevertheless you should read the
following chapter, maybe slight adjustments on the remote control should be necessary.
