Turn the motor switch to the ON position to
start the log splitter. To stop the machine,
just turn the motor switch to the OFF posi-
tion.

Operate the spring-loaded retract control
lever to lift wedge above the height of log to
be split.
To disengage the retract control level by re-
moving the loading spring will allow the
wedge ram to retract automatically after
both control handles are released.
