After unlocking the programme position, "LOCK
OFF« appears in the receiver's display and the TV
picture appears on the screen.
The programme position remains unlocked until
you select another programme position and then
return to the old one.
Entering an incorrect PIN produces the on-screen

message "INCORRECT PIN". The previously select-
ed programme position is selected again.

the "LOCK" menu item is flashing:
"ON" (channel lock on ), or
"OFF" (chanel lock off ).

Locking the menus
Once the receiver has been set up to your taste, you
can prevent anyone altering the tuning and channel
naming by locking the menus.
This does not prevent access to the event timer or
to the channel or audio mode selection.
Press the

"ARE YOU SURE?" prompt, if indicated, a second

Exit the menu by pressing the

button twice.
Attempts to access the menus now require the
correct PIN to be entered.
If the PIN has already been entered after swiching
on from standby (e.g. for unlocking a locked pro-
gramme position), access to the menus is also pos-
sible. Only when switching the receiver back to
standby, the menus will be locked again.
You can unlock the menus again by repeating the
process. Enter your PIN, alter the "MENU LOCKED"
option from "YES" to "NO" and store the result with
the
O
button.
