5. Camera adjustment via OSD menu
All camera adjustments are done via an OSD menu. On the camera there is a mini-joystick.
Press onto the joystick and a menu pops up in the video picture. You can now move the
joystick left/right/up/down in order to get to the desired menu item. For confirming your
choice, press onto the joystick
In case the menu says "SET key", this means pressing the joystick.
If you press the joystick, the main menu overview pops up.
Twisted pair (UTP) connector (only for camera VTC-280IRPWDU):
The camera is equipped with a RJ-45 system connector. Hence the following is possible:
remote power supply, UTP (twisted pair) of the video signal and OSD parameterising via
RS-485. The RS-485 communication is done via the Pelco D protocol. The command to
open/close and to confirm the camera OSD is "Open iris".
By using for example an optional keyboard, you can move the joystick up/down/left/right to
navigate through the OSD menu
