Device Overview

A Soft keys under the display (4x)
These keys have different functions, depending on the operational state or which menu
is selected. The selected mode or menu is displayed directly above the key in the
display.
B Keypad
C Basic navigation
Texts and entries in the telephone book and call log can be removed using
the Delete key.
Use the Home key to show the Home screen. Previously started actions will
continue in the background.
Pressing the Back key takes you back to the most recently opened menu
and ends the current action.

These function keys can be programmed. You can define three functions (at three
levels) for each one.
Scroll sideways through texts and lists that are more than one page long using the up/
down Function key to the right of the display.
F Fixed function keys
The Message key opens the notification list. Missed calls and voicemails
etc. are displayed there. The selection within the notification list enables, for
example, missed or outgoing calls to be displayed.
When the voice mailbox is set up (with operation on a PBX only), you can
also open the message list.
New messages are indicated by a red, blinking LED.
Press the Microphone key to switch the microphone on/off during a call.
The key's LED blinks red as soon as the microphone is switched off.
Press the Hold key to put a call on hold or retrieve the call again.
Press the Redial key to open the redial list which contains the telephone
numbers that were last dialled.
While in idle state, use the Headset key to enable or disable headset
operation.
When headset operation is enabled, the LED lights up in green.
Incoming calls can be accepted by pressing the Headset key.
Use the Transfer key to transfer calls without announcement.
Press the Loudspeaker key to initiate calls without picking up the receiver.
Press the Loudspeaker key to activate loudspeaker listening during a call.
To conduct a call in hands-free calling mode, accept an incoming call by
pressing the Loudspeaker key.
The key's LED blinks red as soon as loudspeaker listening is switched on.
The key's LED lights up red as soon as hands-free calling is switched on.
Press the Plus/Minus keys to increase/decrease the volume of the ringer,
the receiver, the loudspeaker or the headset – depending on the current
operational state.
G Directional pad
The directional pad helps you navigate on the display.
On the Home screen: Press ◄ or ► to switch between function key levels.
In the menus: Press ▲ or ▼ to scroll through the menu options.
During setup: Press ◄ or ► to select from predefined entries.
When entering text: Press ◄ or ► to move the cursor.
Press the OK key to call up menu items, accept and conclude entries and
start functions.
