9.3 Operating mode

The length of the preceding undamping decides whether the yellow
signal LED comes on after a delay (1) or without delay (2) when an object
moves in the enable zone. The outputs definitely switch on without
delay.

In case of undamping the outputs switch off and the yellow signal LED
goes out without delay.
In case of damping in the close zone the outputs switch off immediately
whereas the yellow signal LED only goes out after a delay of approx.
2 s. With the signal LED going out the outputs are maintained in the
safe state ("0"). Thus switching on again is no longer possible in the
Undamping > 2 s

(except for the first start-up)
(1) If the damping element
was away from the sensor for
over approx. 2 s, (> 30 mm),
the yellow signal LED comes
on in case of damping in the
enable zone after a delay of
approx. 3 s.
This is also so when the
damping element is in the
enable zone at power on.
(2) If the damping element
was away from the sensor for
less than 2 s (> 30 mm), the
yellow signal LED comes on
without delay in case of
damping in the enable zone.
