Measures to minimize defeat possibilities
In accordance with EN 1088 direct contact with the active face has to
be prevented (see also 3. Product-independent requirements).
This has to be ensured by means of appropriate installation and screening
measures.

The fail-safe switch is mounted in a way that
prevents direct contact with the active face.
guide slot
This is achieved by installing the fail-safe switch
inside a channel. The channel cannot be
opened without a tool and the slot is too small
to tamper with the switch without opening the
channel.
During installation make sure that soiling of the
channel (e.g. with metal chips) is prevented.
This is achieved e.g. by mounting a comb to
cover the guide slot of the channel and by
installing the channel above the door.
