Before installation
WARNING! The power must be switched off during installation.
Mounting and connecting
1. Switch off the power.
2. Mount the Delta Meter on the DIN rail, see fig. 4.
3. Strip the cable insulation to the recommended length, see fig. 2
and 3, no. 18.
4. Connect the cables according to the wiring diagram on the Delta
Meter. Use the torque values in the table below.
5. Install the circuit protection, see table below for the type.

6. Tariff meters: connect to an external power supply (max 230V)
according to fig. 7. Control the tariffs according to fig. 6.

Verifying
7. Connect the Delta Meter to the voltage specified in the section
Technical Data.
8. For a transformer-rated Delta Meter, check that the current flow/
direction of the external transformers is correct.
9. Switch on the power with load connected to the meter (at least 50
mA current) through the meter. The automatic installation check starts.
10. Wait until the display shows "OK" or "Error".
If "Error", check the error codes and solutions in the section Trouble
shooting. If "OK", the installation is complete.If you have installed a
direct connected Delta Meter, you normally do not need to change
the settings. If you have installed a transformer rated Delta Meter,
you may need to change the default values for the transformer ratios.
