Connecting the refrigerator
7.2 Connecting to 12 V
Caution!
Only select 12 V DC operation (battery mode) if you are using a
battery monitor or if the alternator in your vehicle provides sufficient
voltage.
Note
Disconnect the refrigerator from the battery when the engine is not
running as otherwise it will run down.
Note the following, to ensure that the refrigerator has a suitable power sup-
ply:
The battery must be in good condition.
The electrical wires in the vehicle must have a cross section of at least 1.5

mm .
All wires must be securely fastened along their entire length.
➤ Make sure the positive wire between the battery and the refrigerator is
fused (maximum 15 A).
➤ Connect the refrigerator directly to the battery.
➤ Select a cross section for the cable between the battery and the socket of
the 12-V power supply according to the following table:
