funktion ein- („Yes") oder ausschalten („No").
Bei eingeschalteter Alarmfunktion laufen bei
einem Alarmsignal am Alarmeingang [Pin 14 der
Sub-D-Buchse „ALARM" (17)] die in Kap. 5.2
unter „Alarmeingang" beschriebenen Alarmvor-
gänge ab. Ist die Alarmfunktion ausgeschaltet,
reagiert der Recorder nicht auf ein Alarmsignal.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
„Alarm Duration":
Einstellen der Alarmdauer
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„Alarm Duration" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die
gewünschte Alarmdauer auswählen.
Zur Auswahl stehen „1 Min", „3 Min", „5 Min",
„10 Min", „30 Min", „1 Hour" (= 1 Stunde) oder
„Always" (= Daueralarm).
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
Unter „Record IPS" wird die Aufnahmegeschwin-
digkeit, unter „Quality" die Aufnahmequalität und
unter „Record Mode" das Aufnahmeformat für die
Alarmaufnahme eingestellt. Für die Aufnahme im
Alarmfall sollten Aufnahmegeschwindigkeit und Auf-
nahmequalität möglichst hoch gewählt werden. Zum
Durchführen der Einstellungen siehe Kap. 9.1.2
unter „Record IPS", „Quality" und „Record Mode".
Zum Verlassen der Menüseite die Taste „MENU"

Set the number with the cursor key "Up" or
"Down".

"Up" or "Down".
If "On" is selected, the alarm buzzer will make
an alarm sound if the alarm input [pin 14 of the

2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Bei Fernsteuerung mehrerer Digitalrecorder
muss jedem Recorder eine dreistellige Identifika-
tionsnummer (von 001 bis 999) zugewiesen wer-
den. Die Grundeinstellung ist „000".

If "Yes" is selected, the hard disk will be over-
written when its storage capacity is exhausted
(continuous recording). If "No" is selected, the re-
corder will stop the recording when the storage ca-
pacity of the hard disk is exhausted. In this case,
the output signal at the "Disk Full" output [pin 12 of
the Sub-D jack "ALARM" (17)] can be used as a
trigger signal for starting a second recorder.
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"Date Display":

1) Select the line "Date Display" with the cursor key
"Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Set the date display, i. e. the order of day, month,
and year, with the cursor key "Up" or "Down". The
following options are available:
Y – M – D (year – month – day)
M – D – Y (month – day – year)
D – M – Y (day – month – year)
Off (no date displayed in the picture)
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"Date":

„Buzzer":
Ein-/Ausschalten des internen Alarmsummers

2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" die Option „On" oder „Off" einstellen.
Ist „On" eingestellt, gibt der Alarmsummer
einen Alarmton ab, wenn der Alarmeingang [Pin
14 der Sub-D-Buchse „ALARM" (17)] durch ein
Alarmsignal aktiviert wird. Ist „Off" eingestellt, ist
der Alarmsummer ausgeschaltet.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
„HDD Overwrite":
Ein-/Ausschalten der Überschreibfunktion
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„HDD Overwrite" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" die Option „No" oder „Yes" einstellen.
Ist „Yes" eingestellt, wird die Festplatte neu
beschrieben,
wenn
ihre
erschöpft ist (Endlos-Aufzeichnung). Ist „No" ein-
gestellt, stoppt der Recorder die Aufnahme, wenn
die Speicherkapazität der Festplatte erschöpft ist.
In diesem Fall kann das Ausgangssignal am
„Disk Full"-Ausgang [Pin 12 der Sub-D-Buchse

2) Press the key "ENTER". Instead of the 4 place
holders "xxxx" the current password will appear.
The password is factory-set to "0000".
3) Select the 4 digits successively with the cursor
key "Left" or "Right" and set the numbers with the
cursor key "Up" or "Down".
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"Clear HDD"
Deletion of the data on the hard disk
1) Select the line "Clear HDD" with the cursor key
"Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) For deleting all data on the hard disk, select the
option "Yes" with the cursor key "Up".
4) Press the key "ENTER". As a protection against
unintended deletion of the data the following
request will appear:
