Check that the visor is perfectly clean before applying the tear-off visors.
Applying One Tear-Off Visor:
-Lift and peel off the protection paper from the first surface of the tear-off visor: That surface will be in contact with the visor,
-Place the tear-off visor in front of the visor (it is recommended that the tear-off flap is placed on the left-hand side, clutch lever side for the
rider).
-Insert the first hole of the tear-off visor in the right eccentric pin (with helmet on), located on the visor,
-Insert the second hole of the tear-off visor on the other eccentric pin,
-Rotate the eccentric pins and adjust the tension of the tear-off visor on the visor by rotating them,
-Adjust the tear-off visor so that it is stretched all over the visor. Do not apply excessive tension not to rip or deform it.
-Lift and peel off the protection paper from the second surface of the tear-off visor, the one on the outside,
Application of Several Tear-Off Visors:
It is possible to apply more tear-off visors, but it is not recommended to apply more than two, since every tear-off visor reduces vision, light
transmittance and light refraction.
Warning!!
Tear-Off visors are disposable: Never use damaged visors which can impair visibility.
3c. Visor Locking Button,
Fig.8...
The external locking button, integrated in the visor, is used, when on, to prevent the visor from accidental opening (especially at high
speed). Just press the lever towards the back of the helmet with the visor pulled down to activate it,
Warning!
Do not force and open the visor if the slider is locked.
3d. FS Pinlock 100% MAX Vision
The FS Pinlock integrated anti-fog lens represents the latest evolution of the anti-fog systems available on the market. The FS Pinlock lens
is used to prevent the visor inner surface from fogging, thus improving the visibility in conditions of high humidity.
Warning: Carefully follow the instructions on the packaging of the lens when assembling the FS PINLOCK lens.
Warning!
Always remove the visor from the helmet before applying the FS Pinlock lens.
Warning!
As per specific instructions on the packaging of the lens, remove the FS Pinlock lens from the visor if you need to adjust the pins.
Warning!
Before installing the visor with the FS PINLOCK lens on the helmet, check that the lens itself is correctly positioned. Wrong
positioning of the lens could result in reducing or impairing the system efficiency.
4.. GP500 Inner Comfort,
The inner comfort provided with this helmet is only one of the parts that, together with the other technical and structural components,
makes this helmet the best in comfort and fit.
The inner comfort is completely removable and washable and consists of the Liner e the Comfort Cheek Pads. These are equipped with
the emergency quick removal system Airoh Emergency Fast Remove (AEFR). All the fabrics used are subjected to the Sanitized®
sterilization treatment, that through its antibacterial action prevents unpleasant smells ensuring freshness over long periods.
4a. Comfort liner, easily removable and washable, is made of several parts, each having a specific function,
A..
Stretch microfibre fabric: It is used in the areas where superior softness is required. Used mainly on contact points and therefore on
points where maximum comfort for the head is required. With its particular open-cell sponge cloth on the back, it rapidly disperses humidity
and inner heat.
B..
Air intakes: They are located next to the main air ducts and facilitate optimum air flow and air exchange inside the helmet.

C..
Roll neck: Located in the back part, it improves comfort and helmet stability on the nape of the neck by reducing the air intake
and the noise inside the helmet.

D..
Flap and fastening bayonet: Made to keep the liner in the correct position; they are practical and efficient also when
disassembling the liner to clean it or replace it.
4b. Comfort cheek pads, with emergency quick removal system AEFR, Airoh Emergency Fast Remove; they are easily
removable and washable and consist of,
A..
Stretch microfibre fabric: Used in the cheek area, where superior softness and good breathability are required, achieved by
rapidly dispersing perspiration.
B..
Micro-perforated leather inserts: Located in the lower part, where high resistance to wear is required.
C..
Triple density sponge cloth: The inner sponge cloth is made of layers with different density in order to guarantee a good
helmet stability thanks to the pressure it makes on cheeks, even at high speed, and keeping at the same time high levels of
comfort.
D..
Fastening flap and snap buttons: Designed to keep the cheek pad in the correct position; they are comfortable and efficient
also when disassembling the liner to clean it or replace it.
E..
Red strap for quick release in emergency situation, AEFR, Airoh Emergency Fast Remove: One of the major difficulties
encountered by the emergency services in an accident is freeing the motorcyclist's head from the helmet without causing any
further injury or damage. This is the reason why Airoh has improved and introduced the "Airoh Emergency Fast Remove"
emergency system on this new helmet. This system, with its special red straps on the lower part of the cheek pad, allows the
medical staff to remove the cheek pads with the helmet still on; this way, without the cheek pads, taking the helmet off the injured
person is considerably easier.
Warning!!
The Airoh Emergency Fast Remove must only be used to remove the cheek pads in the event of an accident and only
by qualified staff.
Important!
It is possible to buy thicker or thinner liners and cheek pads in order to customise and improve comfort and fit of the
helmet.
Disassembling the Cheek Pads,
1)Pull the cheek pad from the upper part toward the inside of the helmet by unfastening the three snap buttons,
2)Rotate and lower the cheek pad towards outside by pulling the chin strap out of the loop,
unfasten it from the two red slots and remove it,
3)Pull the back of the liner and release the fastening bayonet from the back side,
4)Pull the front of the liner and release the fastening flap from the front side,
Follow the above instructions in reverse order to fit the cheek pads and inner comfort.
Warning!
Once finished, remember to always pre-fasten the helmet strap, as shown in
--Wear the helmet and check that the liner is correctly fitted. If this is not the case, carry out the required adjustments.
--Hand-wash the liner and cheek pads in lukewarm water - max 35°C - with mild soap, do not wring and let dry in the shade.
Warning!
Do not modify nor damage the polystyrene inner shell and do not paint nor apply stickers, petrol or any other chemical
solvents.
