When installing motors for low-voltages without a protective earth
connection, make sure that the protective earth connection is
guaranteed by another means.
•
Alternatively fully cover the motor in non-conductive material
(protective isolation, also ensuring that the shaft connection is
not-conductive!)
4 Start-up / function check
WARNING! Danger of injuries!
The device can only be started by a qualified specialist under
observance of the safety guidelines.
Before starting-up the device the following points have to be checked,
and any detected deffects have to be removed:
•
Check that the device and all its components are securely attached
and check the screws.
•
Check the electrical power supply and the protective earth connec-
tions.
•
Check the rotational direction.
•
Check whether all the safety devices are installed and in operation.
The motor is now installed and ready for use.
