Sicherheitshinweise Montage ausschließlich durch qualifiziertes und unterwiesenes Personal! Vor der Montage ist diese Montageanweisung zu lesen. Die Nichteinhal- tung kann Personenschäden verursachen und zur Zerstörung der Motoren führen. Weiterhin müssen die allgemeingültigen Sicherheits- und Unfall- verhütungsvorschriften beachtet werden. Anschluss elektrischer Bauteile ausschließlich durch Elektrofachkräfte. -

1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Die Synchron- und Synchrongetriebemotoren unserer Serien ROBASE, ROSYNC und ROSLYDE sind als Komponenten der Antriebstechnik ausschließlich zum Einbau in Maschinen bestimmt. Sie dienen nur zur Erzeugung von Drehbewegungen. Jede darüber hinausgehende und/oder andersartige Verwendung des Gerätes ist untersagt und gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. -

3 Montage 3.1 Sicherheitshinweise WARNUNG! Das Gerät ist so in eine Maschine oder Anlage einzubauen, dass: • eine Gefährdung von Personen, Tieren und Sachen durch elektrischen Strom ausgeschlossen und eine Schutzlei- terverbindung gewährleistet ist! • eine mechanische Gefährdung von Personen, Tieren und Sachen ausgeschlossen ist. -

3.3 Installation Vor der Montage sind folgende notwendige Bedingungen zu schaffen: passende elektrische Spannungsversorgung (siehe technische Daten bzw. Typenschild), Absicherung mit einer Sicherung mit ca. dem Fünffachen des Nennstroms ausreichender Platz zum Einbau (Die Funktionsfähigkeit des Mo- tors wird durch die Einbaulage nicht beeinflusst.) Umgebungstemperatur nicht höher als 50°C Während der Installation Folgendes beachten: Sauberer Untergrund im Bereich der Auflageflächen... -

3.4 Schnittstelle Antrieb – Abtrieb Die Getriebemotoren können mit unterschiedlichen Abtriebswellen ausgeliefert werden. Die Welle-Nabe-Verbindung ist fachgerecht und ohne Gewalteinwirkung herzustellen. Wenn auf die Abtriebswelle eines Motors ohne Getriebe ein Ritzel aufgezogen wird, muss das hintere Wellenende des Motors unterstützt werden. WARNUNG! Bei zu hoher Krafteinwirkung während der Herstellung der Verbindung kann der Motor beschädigt oder zerstört werden! -

• Beim Einbau von Motoren für Niederspannungen ohne Schutzlei- teranschluss darauf achten, dass die Schutzleiterverbindung auf andere Weise sichergestellt ist. • Alternativ den Motor vollständig in elektrisch nicht leitendem Ma- terial kapseln (Schutzisolierung, auch Wellenverbindung nichtlei- tend!) 4 Inbetriebnahme/Funktionsprüfung WARNUNG! Verletzungsgefahr! Die Inbetriebnahme darf nur von dafür qualifiziertem Fach- personal unter Beachtung der Sicherheitsvorschriften durch- geführt werden. -

Safety guidelines Assembly is exclusively to be performed by qualified and trained people! Before assembly these assembly instructions have to be read. The non- observance of these instructions can lead to personal injury and damage to the motors. Furthermore the generally applicable safety and accident prevention regulations have to be observed. -

1 Intended use The synchronous and gear motors of our series ROBASE, ROSYNC and ROSLYDE are exclusively intended for installation in machines as com- ponents of the drive system. They are exclusively intended for creating rotary motion. Any different and/or further usage of the device is not permitted and is regarded as improper use. -

3.3 Installation Before assembly the following necessary conditions are to be created: A suitable electrical power supply (see technical data or the name plate), safeguarded by a fuse with approx. five-times the rated current. Sufficient space for installation (i.e. the function of the motor is not affected by the place of installation). -

3.4 Drive-output interface The drive motors can be supplied with different output shafts. The shaft-hub connection is to be created properly and without using force. If a pinion is mounted on the output shaft of a motor without a gearbox, the rear shaft end of the motor has to be supported. -

• When installing motors for low-voltages without a protective earth connection, make sure that the protective earth connection is guaranteed by another means. • Alternatively fully cover the motor in non-conductive material (protective isolation, also ensuring that the shaft connection is not-conductive!) 4 Start-up / function check WARNING!
