Emptying and refilling containers

Coffee grounds drawer
If the coffee grounds drawer is full, a message will be displayed. Dispensing
of further coffee products will be interrupted until the grounds drawer has
been removed, emptied and reinserted to the machine.
1. Move the tea outlet slightly to the up so that the doors can be opened.
2. Open the door to the left and remove the coffee grounds drawer.
3. The touch screen indicates GROUNDS DRAWER OUT.
4. Empty and clean the drawer.
5. Insert the grounds drawer and confirm the message GROUNDS DRA-
WER REMOVED with the YES button.
6. Close the door an turn the tea outlet to its used position.
Coffee bean hoppers
The S530 can be equipped with max 2, the S545 with max 3 coffee bean
hoppers. This offers varieties of different products and tastes. The high qua-
lity grinders can be adjusted seperatly to get an optimum taste of each coffe
brand.
• Always make sure that the hoppers will be refilled with the corresponding
coffee beans! If the bean hopper is too high, use a safe step.
• If a bean hopper runs out during grinding, the machine will display BEAN
HOPPER X IS EMPTY.
• Do not put more beans into the machine than you actually need right
away. Otherwise the coffee flavour will quickly be lost and the coffee
quality will be seriously impaired. Close the coffee pack carefully and
store it in a cool place.
Powder hopper
The powder level is not monitored electronically. Make sure that the hoppers
are filled with the appropriate powder. If the powder hopper is too high, use
a safe step.
Refrigerator (element R)
By the milk module with refrigerator, the milk level is monitored. If the level
falls below the minimum, the message PLEASE FILL COLD MILK INTO MILK-
CONTAINER will be displayed. You can confirm the message with the OK-
button and prepare drinks without milk. No more milk or mixed products
can be dispensed until the container has been refilled.
