Emptying and refilling containers

Coffee grounds drawer

If the coffee grounds drawer is full, a message will be displayed. Dispensing of further
coffee products will be interrupted until the grounds drawer has been removed, emp-
tied and reinserted to the machine.
1. Open the door to the right and remove the coffee grounds drawer.
2. The display indicates INSERT GROUNDS DRAWER.
3. Empty and clean the drawer.
4. Press and hold the STOP key while inserting the grounds drawer.
5. The display indicates SHIFT.
6. Keep pressed the STOP key until OK appears on display.
7. Close the door.

Coffee bean hoppers

The S300 has a maximum of two coffee bean hoppers, which can be filled with various
different types of beans. Each coffee grinder has been specially set to your desired type
of coffee beans.
• Make sure that you fill the hoppers with the right coffee beans! If the bean hopper
is too high, use a safe step.
• If one bean hopper runs out during the service of a drink, the machine will issue a
prompt to refill the beans in that hopper. The display will show the message BEANS
GRINDER X.
• Do not put more beans into the machine than you actually need right away. Other-
wise the coffee flavour will quickly be lost and the coffee quality will be seriously
impaired. Close the coffee pack carefully and store it in a cool place.

Milk holder (element R)

The milk module with compressor cooling constantly monitors the milk level. If the le-
vel falls below the minimum, the message PLEASE TOP UP MILK will be displayed. No
more milk or mixed products can be dispensed until the holder has been topped up.

Milk modul (element M)

The milk level is not monitored electronically. Check at regular intervals, the amount
of milk.

Powder hopper

Check at regular intervals, the amount of powder. Make sure that you fill the hoppers
with the right powder. If the powder hopper is too high, use a safe step. For refilling,
you do the following:
1. Open the door.
2. Turn up the powder injections and take out the powder hoppers.
3. Refill powder.
4. Reinstall the powder hoppers and turn down the powder incections.
5. Close the door.
