The periodic cleanings
DAILY CLEANING
Drinks outlet with milk module
1. The machine must be switched-off.
2. Remove the outlet cover (P .1).
3. The catch handle (P .2) open.
4. Drag down the milk outlet (P .3), the spout tube (P .4) and the connecting
piece (P .5).
5. Clean all parts thoroughly.
6. Clean the nozzles with the special brush (S6).
7. Put the parts in reverse order, together again.
8. Check the tubes! There should be no kinked.
Steam outlet or Powersteam*
1. Fill the milk jug with 0.7 litre water and 60ml or 2 measuring cups
cappucleaner.
2. Unscrew the steam nozzle from the steam outlet and place it in
the milk jug.
3. Hold the steam outlet by the black handle and plunge into the jug.
4. Press the STEAM KEY and foam the cleaning fluid.
5. ** Unscrew the lower end by the Powersteam outlet.
6. Clean all parts thoroughly.
7. Put the parts in reverse order, together again.
** Step 5 is in use by the Powersteam in two parts.
* Powersteam is available as option by the S545.
Powder module
1. The machine must be switched-off.
2. Close the powder injection and clean the powder tubes (P .1).
3. Remove the cup interlock; counterclockwise (P .2).
4. Remove the mixer cup.
5. Clean all parts thoroughly and wait until they are dried.
6. Put the parts in reverse order, together again.
WEEKLY CLEANING
Intensive cleaning drinks outlet (with milk)
1. The machine must be switched-off.
2. Remove the outlet cover (P .1) and open the catch handle (P .2).
3. Drag down the milk outlet (P .3), the spout tube (P .4) and the connecting
piece (P .5).
4. Remove the piece of mixture (P .7) with the nozzle (P .8) and the handle
owner (P .9) from the milk outlet.
5. Remove the coffee outlet (P .10).
6. Pull carefully the powder outlet from the mounting plate and pull you the
piece of discharge of the hose.
7. Clean all parts thoroughly.
8. Clean the nozzles with the special brush (S6).
9. Put the parts in reverse order, together again.
10. Check the tubes! There should be no kinked.
