Operating and setting the timer

The timer can be only associated with one single plate at a time.
Activate the timer by pressing the (+) or (-) buttons (see para 2.3 "Control panel"). The letter "t" flashes on
the plate display.
The plate must always be selected (pressing the relative (+) or (-) buttons) before setting the timer; if not, the
timer turns off. If 10 seconds elapse without the plate being selected, the timer turns off.
A LED shines in the top right part of the display associated with the selected plate. This constantly reminds
the user that the relative plate is timed.
If a time other than "00" is not set within 10 secs. after selecting the plate, the timer switches off (the appliance
remains on). The plate can be timed at heating level "0".
The timer can be set for values from 1 to 99 minutes and can be changed at any moment. Press the (+) or
(-) button of the timer to rapidly increase/decrease the value. This allows the required timer setting to be
reached more quickly.
When the time set on the timer elapses, the plate turns off and a buzzer sounds for 1 minute ("00" flashes on
the timer). The timer alarm stops after one minute and "00" flashes on the timer display. The user can interrupt
the alarm at any time (also during the first minute) by pressing any button.
To cancel the timer setting, turn off the timer by pressing the relative (+) and (-) buttons at the same time.

Automatic safety feature for turning off the plates

If the heating level is not changed, the corresponding plate automatically switches off after a time that depends
on the selected heating level.
Maximum on times are shown below:
