2.2 Raising Aid Standard
The raising aid Standard is used to move patients within the bed or transfer them from a bed to a
wheelchair. It is ideal for use in conjunction with the sliding board when transferring the patient, e. g. to
a wheelchair.
2.3 Accessory (option): safety loop belt for patient support
The safety loop belt can be used optionally for patients with limited body tension.
The safety loop belt enables also especially the safe transfer for patients that sit in very narrow wheel
chairs or seat pans that prevent applying the flexible holding belt of the raising aids under the patient.
Both loops of the safety loop belt have to be attached to the grips of the holding belt and with help of
the clip locks then applied under the patient's legs.
The safety loop belt is exclusively designed for the short-term use during patient transfers and only in
combination with the PM-Alpha products (holding belt and raising aid Magic / Standard)
These products are suitable for re-use.

3. Maintenance / Care

The product does not require any special maintenance. It can be washed in a washing machine at
60° C and is suitable for low dryer temperatures (45 – 50° C). When using non-standard washing
agents, bleaching agents, softener or other chemical washing additives, the functional properties of
the product can strongly degrade. The robust material can be disinfected with the usual wipe
disinfectants. Check the compatibility before use where required on the basis of the disinfectant's
instructions. We recommend the use of alcohol- and aldehyde-free agents, e.g. Trionic®. Before
washing, remove the core of the product and wipe it or disinfect it if necessary. There is also some
care information on the label.
4. Warranty

Petermann gives a warranty that the product is devoid of material defects and manufacturing
defects.

The warranty is valid for a period of 3 years. It does not cover any defects which are due to
improper use.

Petermann cannot be held liable for any accidental or indirect injury or damage.
