7. Cleaning
Danger!
It is imperative that you pull the mains plug out of the socket before clea-
ning. Risk of electric shock!
Caution!
Never use scraping objects and scouring/aggressive detergents or deter-
gents with a high alcohol content to clean the Raclette2+. This could
scratch or damage the parts. Use only standard commercial washing-up
liquid and water.
Clean the Raclette2+ at least after every use.
In order to clean the aluminium griddle (1) it has to be lifted out of the retaining clips
(2) and cleaned separately.
Clean the aluminium griddle (1), the pans (11) and the scrapers (12) under warm run-
ning water with a little washing-up liquid.
Clean the remaining parts of the Raclette2+ only with a damp cloth.
Make sure that the appliance and all the additional parts are thoroughly dry before
using them again.
8. Servicing/Maintenance
Servicing and maintenance is limited to the cleaning referred to in Chapter 7.
9. Repairs
Repairs must be carried out only by the manufacturer or authorised specialists. If you
have any queries, ask your dealer or speak directly to our Customer Service.
The active safety fuse (8) may be replaced by persons of age that are of sound judge-
ment, following these steps.
1. Pull the mains supply lead (13) out of the socket and out of the basic module's mains
input plug (6).
2. Open the fuse box (7) carefully using a suitable screwdriver.
3. Replace the faulty active safety fuse (8) with the spare fuse (9) or another original
Spring fuse.
