1.2. Warranty, liability

The warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase on the sales invoice.
The original sales invoice must always be presented along with the appliance for repairs
under warranty. The sales invoice serves as a certificate of warranty.
In general, Spring International GmbH's General Terms and Conditions of Sale and
Delivery apply.

2. Proper use

These Instructions for Use apply to the «Raclette2+» Spring Raclette Grill. The applian-
ce may only be operated by people responsible for their own actions that have gras-
ped and understood the scope of all the misuses and safety instructions stated in these
Instructions for Use. Children may only operate it under supervision.

2.1. Intended uses

Preparing meals, in particular melting Raclette cheese in the original pans specially
designed for this purpose (11) and grilling dishes on the aluminium griddle (1) or on the
hot stone available as an optional extra (15). The Raclette2+ basic module can be ope-
rated with up to 4 extension modules, and so can take up to 10 pans (11). Every hea-
ting element (3) is controlled simultaneously by a thermostat (5).

2.2. Known misuses

The following misuses are dangerous and therefore forbidden for safety reasons:
Operating the Raclette2+ without supervision. This can result in fires and potentially
personal injury and material damage.
Defective repairs may prevent the appliance from working properly. Repairs may be
carried out only by authorised specialists or by Spring International GmbH. Use no-
thing but original spare parts!
Starting up or re-using the Raclette2+ with damaged parts, e.g. supply lead, etc., is
dangerous and may cause personal injury.
Always pull the mains supply lead (13) out of the socket before opening the fuse box
(7).
