Danger!
The individual Raclette2+ modules must be carried one by one to and from
the place where the appliance is set up. Never carry the modules together
either connected or assembled. They might fall apart and cause modera-
te to severe personal injury or material damage.
Caution!
The appliance must not be operated by children and/or persons that are
not of sound judgement that cannot grasp the associated potential risks,
unless they are supervised.

5.1. Start-up/Operation

1. Take only a basic module or a basic module with up to 4 extension modules, and
combine them in accordance with one of the modes of use described in Chapter
5.3.
2. Connect the mains supply lead (13) to the basic module's mains input plug (6).
3. Next put the mains supply lead (13) plug into a suitable socket in accordance with
Chapter 13 «Technical Data». The Raclette2+ is now ready to use.
4. Turn the thermostat (5) clockwise as far as it goes for the aluminium griddle (1) to
heat up as quickly as possible.
5. After about 8 minutes the appliance is ready to use with the aluminium griddle (1).
The Hot Stone (15) takes a little longer.
6. Whilst cooking, reduce the temperature according to your requirements using the
thermostat (5).
7. The empty hot pan (11) can be pushed under the pan tray (4) during breaks between
eating (4). In this way the pan (11) is held by the edges and is protected from further
heat absorption by the pan tray (11). This means that you do not require an additio-
nal pan holder or other racks/trays, thus saving valuable space on the table.
8. After use, pull the mains supply lead (13) plug out of the socket and allow the appli-
ance to cool off completely on the table. Afterwards, separate the modules from one
another and take them away one by one.
