6.10.4 Configure unit

Select "Setup 4. Configure unit" via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and press the Enter-button.
Select the desired projector via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and press the Enter-button.
Enter the number of DMX-channels via the Data Entry fader or confirm the selection "16" with the Enter-
button. Enter the desired channel fader behind "Pot:" and confirm with the Enter-button. Select the desired
function and confirm with the Enter-button. Enter the respective channel of the projector and confirm with the
Enter-button. Select the desired effect and confirm with the Enter-button. Enter the respective DMX-value
and confirm with the Enter-button.
If you do not want to enter any more effects, press the Esc-button and enter the next channel. Please note
that the display does not show any function afterwards.
If the display says occupied, you can overwrite the occupation with the Enter-button.
After all effects have been entered, press the Escape-button and the display shows "B.Out: Scan?Dim?".
Select "Scan" for scanners and Moving Heads and "Dim" for dimmers via the Left/Right-buttons and confirm
with the Enter-button. The display shows "Save changes?". Press the Enter-button in order to save the
settings or the Escape-button in order to return to the main menu.

6.10.5 New typical

Select " Setup 5. New typical" via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader. Press the Enter-button.
Select the desired menu via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and press the Enter-button.
Select language
Within the menu "Select Language", you can change the desired language. Select the desired language via
the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and press the Enter-button.
Select code
Within the menu "Select Code", you can change the preset code for the main menu and for the Setup-menu.
Select New Menu Code in order to change the code for the main menu or New Setup Code in order to
change the code for the setup menu and press the Enter-button.
Enter the new code via the Projector Select buttons and press the Enter-button. If you want to unlock the
respective menu, only press the Enter-button without entering any number.
Addressing mode
Within this menu, you can adjust how the CP-256/32 shall assign the DMX-addresses. The standard setting
is "Automat 16", i.e. the CP-256/32 will automatically assign 16 DMX-channels to every projector. The setting
"Automat in Row" means that the DMX-adresses will be assigned in accordance with the actually required
DMX-channels of a projector (e. g. 4 channels for Futurelight SC-240). The setting "Manually" means that the
user can freely assign the DMX-adresses.
Select the desired setting via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and press the Enter-button.
Greeting text
Within this menu, you can change the greeting text. Please note that the greeting text can only be changed
once and contain a maximum of 64 letters.
Press the Enter-button. The cursor of the second field starts flashing and you can change the letters via the
Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader. You can jump from one field to another using the Left/Right-
buttons. As soon as you have finished your inputs, press the Escape-button and the Enter-button in order to
save the settings.
6.10.6 Adjust the encoders-sensitivity
With the CP-256/32 you can adjust the encoders-sensitivity steplessly between 0 % (lowest sensitivity) and
100 % (highest sensitivity).
Select "Setup 6. Joy Config" via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader. Press the Enter-button. Select
the desired encoders-sensitivity via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and press the Enter-button
twice.

6.10.7 Operating hour meter

Select " Setup 7. Worked time" via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and press the Enter-button.
The display shows the operating hours of the device.
