11 Troubleshooting

Fault
A low salt level is displayed.
Unit not supplying softened
water.
Unit supplying deviating outlet
water hardness.
No water flow
Unit not supplying softened
water or the flow is insufficient.
Coloured flushing water at
start-up.
If the fault cannot be remedied by following these steps, please contact our after-sales service
department and quote the series and production number (see type plate on rear of unit).
Cause
Insufficient regenerative in the
regenerative container (3).
If there is still regenerative in
the container, regenerative
encrustation may have formed
over the switch.
No regenerative in the regenera-
tive container (3).
Power supply interrupted.
Blending not set correctly.
Fine adjustment not performed.
The volume flow was too low for
the hardness setting.
Water supply shut off by AQA
Stop.
Inlet pressure is too low.
Abrasion particles from ex-
changer resin.
Remedy
Refill regenerative and press
the
button until the Low salt
message disappears.
Loosen and stir the regenera-
tive.
Refill regenerative, press the
button until the Low salt
message disappears. Wait
3 hours for the brine to form
and manually start regeneration
for both exchanger columns in
succession.
Establish electrical connection.
Perform settings as described in
the "Setting the water hardness"
section within Start-up.
The outlet water hardness still
has to be finely adjusted.
Reset the water hardness and
perform fine adjustment.
Check the installation for leaks.
Reset AQA Stop
Increase inlet pressure (set
pressure reducer if necessary)
and start manual regeneration.
Repeat start-up flush.
