9. 3 OPERATION FAULTS

Power cord not plugged in
properly.

Power receptacle fuse(s) blown.

Irrigation solution tank empty.
Faulty pump.
Irrigation deactivated
Blocked irrigation circuit
Blocked tip or file.
Wrong choice of tip.
Tip worn or distorted.
Incorrect power adjustment.
Incorrect use: incorrect angle of
attack or inadequate pressure on
the tooth.
Liquid or moisture present
between handpiece and cord.
Incorrect tip tightening.
Faulty connector contact.
Handpiece cord wire cut.
Handpiece light ring is missing.
Faulty light ring.
Faulty light ring connector
contacts.
Light ring reversed polarity.
Faulty cord / handpiece
connector contacts.

Worn handpiece 1.15x1 seal.
Tube rupture.

Solutions
Check the power socket.
Return to SATELEC after-sales.
Place the power switch in
position I.
Replace the power receptacle
fuses.
Return to SATELEC after-sales.
Fill the irrigation solution tank.
Replace the pump.
Return to SATELEC after-sales
Return to SATELEC after-sales.
Unblock the tip or file.
Check the tip.
Replace the tip.

Dry the electrical contacts
thoroughly.
Tighten the tip with the wrench.
Clean the connector contacts.
Return to SATELEC after-sales to
replace the cord.
Install the light ring (Fig. 5).
Replace the light ring (Fig. 5).
Clean the connector light ring
contacts.
Position the light ring by lining
up the lug +.
Clean the handpiece and/or
connector contacts.
Contact your installer-
integrator.
Replace the seal (kit F12304).
Return to SATELEC after-sales.
Replace the two seals (E15121).
