The practitioner switches on the device using the ON/OFF footswitch.
Pressing the footswitch automatically switches on the ultrasonic handpiece, the light function (P5
N XS L ) and the irrigation function (if this is not set to "0").

The light function remains activated for nine seconds approx. after releasing the footswitch (P5 N
XS L ).

The weight of the device and its anti-slip pad guarantee good stability.
c) Right-hand side of the control unit
The cord connecting the device and the handpiece connector governs:
- Fluid circulation for the spray.
- The electric connection between the device and the handpiece.
d) Left-hand side of the control unit
The knob (Fig. 2-3) governs:
- Switching off the irrigation function when turned completely counterclockwise.
- Irrigation flow rate adjustment: from "min" to "max".
F /P function, when pressed. Press this button to start draining with a delay of 8 min approx.
