Operation
Before starting work, please make sure there are no hidden gas or water pipes of
electric cables in your working area. When in doubt, use a suitable device to locate
such cables or pipes. Suitable devices can be purchased from the Westfalia Werkzeug
Company.
Please observe the correct power mains voltage. The operating voltage stated on the
type label must correspond to the power mains voltage in your area.

Turning ON and OFF

Press or release the ON/OFF switch (5).
The ON/OFF switch (5) can be locked in the ON position. To do so, press the lock
button (6). Pressing the ON/OFF switch (5) again will loosen the locking button.

Drilling / Impact Drilling

The toggle switch (8) is located on the side of the machine..
Impact Drilling: Push the switch into the machine from the left.
There is a hammer symbol on the housing.
Drilling: Push the switch into the machine from the right.
There is a drill symbol on the housing.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always pull the power plug before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance
work.
Keep the machine clean at all times. Make sure the ventilation ducts are free from
obstructions. Use only a moist cloth to clean the machine. Never immerse the machine
in liquids of any kind and do not allow liquids to enter the machine.
In the case of a malfunction immediately stop working with the machine for your own
safety. Please do not try to repair it yourself. Please contact the Westfalia customer
support department or have the machine repaired by a professional.
