The metering release takes place either via pulses from a contact water meter in a
consumer pipe or via an external release signal.
• If metering takes place from the
metering console is activated via a flow meter in proportion to volume.
• If metering takes place from the
released via a release signal depending on the measured value.

Option: Fresh water inlet

Constant conditions are required at the fresh water inlet for operating the
fresh water volumetric flow is limited via the needle valve on the
unit.
We recommend the fittings listed below at the fresh water inlet:

Since the dilution of the transporting water is an hydraulic process and is not monitored in
proportion to volume, constant conditions are required at the fresh water inlet in order to
ensure constant generation of chlorine dioxide (see Fig. 5.14)
