2 Follow local codes and regulations when selecting field wires.
3 T he wire sizes marked with  in the table of this page are selected at the maximum current of the unit according to the European Standard,
EN60 335-1. Use the wires which are not lighter than the ordinary tough rubber sheathed flexible cord (code designation H60245 IEC 57) or
ordinary polychloroprene sheathed flexible cord (code designation H60245 IEC 57).
4 Use a shielded cable for the transmitting circuit and connect it to ground.
5 In the case that power cables are connected in series, add each unit maximum current and select wires below.

C A U T I O N
• Install a multi-pole main switch with a space of 3.5 mm or more between each phase.
• Use shielded wires for transmission wires between the indoor and the outdoor units, and connect the shielded part to the earth screw in the
electrical box.
10.5 DIP SWITCH SETTING OF OUTDOOR UNIT
Quantity and Position of DIP Switches.The PCB in the outdoor unit is operated with 6 types of dip switches and 3 types of push
switch.

N O T E
• The mark "■" indicates position of dips switches. Figures show setting
before shipment or after selection.
• By using DSW4, the unit is started or stopped after 10 to 20 seconds
after the switch is operated.

C A U T I O N
Before setting dips switches, firstly turn off power source and set the
position of the dips switches. If the switches are set without turning off the
power source, the contents of the setting are invalid.

