Before cleaning your appliance, unplug it and let the griddle cool dow n.
Read the general rules applicable to electrical equipment before any action on the appliance.
The frame
Clean the frame w ith a sponge dipped in w arm w ater and liquid detergent
unchlorinated.
N ever use abrasive products or metallic brushes.
Do not clean the appliance under flow ing w ater.
Do not immerse the appliance.
Due to the high temperatures heat, it is normal for the stainless steel can to become brow n w ith time.
The griddle
After use, simply w ipe the griddle; do not w ash it.
CAREFUL: never suddenly cool plates.
Preparing crepes requires a contribution of fat on the griddle.
- Lubricating by the w iper pad
- Fat in the batter according to recipes
These fats w ill gradually thicken the initial seasoning. Avoid seasoning that does become too thick
because:
- It acts as an insulator and interferes w ith the cooking.
- It is flaking off or giving the impression that the metal disintegrates.
Therefore the strip regularly uses the abrasive stone APA1 Krampouz.
If the seasoning is too thick default regular stripping, it is possible stripping plate by blasting (contact our
customer service).
After these operations must be redone a seasoning as for a new product.
