Electrical connection
The appliances must be connected to the single phase 2 4 0 V netw ork using a 1 6 -amp two-pin plug w ith
earth pin. They are delivered w ith a pow er cable, type HO 7 RN F 3 conductors (phase + neutral + earth),
cross-section 1 ,5 mm².
The appliances specified 4 0 0 V must be plugged to a three-phase + neutral + earth 2 0 -amp. They are
delivered w ith a pow er cable, type HO 7 RN F 5 conductors (3 phases + neutral + earth), cross-section
1 ,5 mm².

Seasoning of the griddles
C aution : this operation (lasting 1 to 1 ½ hour) is necessary w hen griddles are new .
Use frying oil w ithout other ingredient.
For successful seasoning:
- Plug the pow er supply cable
- Sw itch on the appliance
- Heat the appliance in heated to 2 7 0 °C. Your appliance reaches the required temperature w hen the
orange indicator light goes out.
Keep the appliance at this temperature for the duration of seasoning.
- Pour the equivalent of a tablespoon of cooking of frying oil into the centre of the griddle.
Using a w iper pads ATG 1 or ATG 5 Krampouz spread this oil evenly, and then let it cook for 5 to 1 0
minutes so that the griddle becomes burnished and completely dry.
- Repeat previous operation eight times, decreasing the amount of oil used each time, but carefully
respecting the 5 to 1 0 minutes cooking time for each layer of oil.
A w ell-seasoned griddle is chestnut coloured (dark brow n) and has a shine.
N ecessary equipment
Here is a list of advisable accessories for successful crêpe making:
- A spreader (1 8 to 2 0 centimetres)
- Brush and w ater tray to clean the w ood spreader
- A w ooden or stainless steel spatula
- The Krampouz cleaning pads ref. ATG 1 or ATG 5
- A little oil to grease the griddle
- A container for your batter
- A ladle size
