AHT Cooling Systems GmbH
2. Product description
2.1
General information
AHT products meet the requirements of the EU directive
2011/65/EC (RoHS2) for preventing dangerous substances
from entering electrical and electronic devices and the EU
regulation 1907/2006 (REACH) on registering, assessing
and approving chemicals.
When it came to designing the product, the manufacturer
ensured that the appliances were environmentally friendly
and easy to dispose of. This was especially the case with
the refrigerant propane (R-290) and with pentane, the blow-
ing agent for the insulating foam. Propane has no ozone
depletion potential (ODP) and a very minimal greenhouse
gas potential (GWP) of 3.
