 The limit switch of the drive is automatically actuated when the window is being closed.
The machine applies a pull force which is greater than 550 N and ensures that the window
seals close properly, even when using large-sized closing fi xtures.
7.2 Installation of drive, rack and pinion follower and connecting rod
Drive and rack and pinion follower can be installed in a row when using heavy and/or wide
sashes. A rack and pinion follower can provide an additional opening/locking point. The drive
and the rack and pinion follower are synchronised by means of a mechanical connecting rod.
The following drawing shows the arrangement and centre-to-centre distances that must be
observed during installation.

 Mark the centre-to-centre distance D on the closing fi xture for
installation of the drive and the rack and pinion follower.
For the defi nitive dimensions, refer to the above table.
 Position the mounting bracket of the drive, mark the positions
of the holes, drill hole in closing fi xture and attach the bracket
(see explanation in the section "Installation").
