System components
Together with the Impulser receivers, this autonomous wireless version of the Presence Control IR Quattro is
the fastest way of upgrading a room to perfectly automated lighting control. With 1,760 switching zones and 13
detection levels, the IR Quattro guarantees precision detection of all movements. For further information on setting
transmitters and receivers, please refer to the instructions of the IMPULSER system.
Installation/Getting started
The battery-operated detector can be mounted without power supply lead. The site of installation should be at
least 50 cm away from a light source, because heat radiated from it may activate the system.

Life at least 12 months, depending on response frequency (frequency with which movements are detected).
Functions
Twilight setting (response threshold)
The detector's response threshold can be infinitely varied from 2 – 2000 lux.
Control dial fully anti-clockwise = night-time operation (approx. 2 lux).
Control dial fully clockwise = daytime operation (approx. 2000 lux).
Time setting (switch-off delay)
Device being controlled can be set to stay on from approx. 1 min. to a maximum of 15 min.
Control dial set fully anti-clockwise = shortest time (approx. 1 min.)
Control dial set fully clockwise = longest time (approx. 15 min.)
Reach setting
The mechanically scalable reach setting can be infinitely varied for systematic adjustment of the detection zones:
Even where entire systems are installed, individual zones can be clearly segregated.

This Steinel product has been manufactured with utmost care, tested for proper operation and safety and then

The warranty period is 36 months and starts on the date of sale to the consumer. We will remedy defects caused
