Warning!
When in operation, the unit must at
all times be kept moving!
Do not operate a stationary cleaner,
as the carpeting can be damaged if
it is motionless on one spot!
Prior to operation on carpeting:
! Push the unit to the work site on
its castors

Dry cleaning carpets

! Vacuum the carpet with a brush
vacuum cleaner
! Spray RM 770 onto the carpet
and then sprinkle RM 771 onto it
! Attach the appropriate brushes:
light blue for loop pile and green
for velvet-pile
! Work the
BRS 40/550 C CARPET
crosswise on the carpet
! for approx. 15-30 min. allow to
dry
! Suck up the granules with a
vacuum cleaner

Cleaning hard and elastic

floor coverings (option)

! Insert the appropriate brushes
! Use a spray to apply the
detergent solution to the floor
! Work the machine over the floor
! Suck up the used detergent
solution with a wet-dry vacuum
cleaner
Note:
The liquid level on the floor/ground
to be cleaned may not exceed
5 mm.

After every operation

Pull out machine plug

! Pull the power cable out of the
socket
! Disconnect the plug from the
power cable
! Remove the strain-reliever

Stopping machine

! Release the pushing handles and
tip forwards
! Lift the appliance
! Engage the safety device

! Position the cleaner vertically
Note:
Do not leave the cleaner on the
rotary brushes
Dismantling brush rollers
Note:
If the machine is not positioned
vertically the rotary brushes must be
dismantled
! Carefully lay the cleaner down
! Press down and suspend the
rotary brushes
