switch, that can also allow the fan to
be moved by means of an ON/OFF
thermostat, in accordance with the
temperature of the cooled water.
All the evaporating towers are fitted
with electrical motors normally already
suitable for connection with a three-
phase line (Fig. 07).
N.B. Always check however the type of
connection to be made in accordance
with the schematic shown by the
manufacturer of the motor on the
rating plate and inside the terminal
box.An electrical junction box can
be provided on request in a position
that is easy to access for the versions
from 050 to 750, while one is always
provided for the last three sizes from
850 to 1100 (Fig. 08).
Once the electrical connection has
been made, provide a current pulse to
the motor and check that the impeller
rotates in direction that allows the air to
be sucked in at the bottom of the tower
and expelled from the top (or from the
fan).
If this does not happen, reverse the
rotation direction simply by exchanging
the position of the clamps on the
sectioner of two of the three power line
phases, after sectioning the power upline
(Fig. 9).
N.B. all the fans are tried and tested
in the factory; before powering up the
motor you are anyway recommended
to check that the fan turns freely inside
the diffuser by turning it by hand a few
times and checking there is enough space
between each blade and the inside of the
ring.
Close the electrical junction box again being
very careful that the gasket between the lid
and box is correctly positioned and that the
cable holes are tightened properly.
Once this last operation has been
completed, seal both the box and the cable
holes adequately with appropriate silicone-
based material.

Plumbing

At the top of the body you will find one
or more flanged connections according
to the model. These are connected to the
inside water distribution manifold and the
piping for the arrival of the system water
