Introduction

The LIFE-BASE light XS portable system is used as a mount for the
MEDUMAT Standard² ventilator. The LIFE-BASE light XS, the device
mounted on it, and a separate pressure hose combine to provide
the user with a mobile unit for the treatment of respiratory
disturbances.
For a secure fixation, the LIFE-BASE light XS can be attached and
secured to hospital beds, stretchers and standard rails. The LIFE-
BASE light XS is used in combination with the MEDUMAT
Standard² in rescue vehicles (only with equipment rail adapters),
indoors (e.g., in a hospital) and outdoors.
The device is securely mounted on the portable system using
screws, which facilitates transportation and operation.
The portable system can be fastened to equipment rails or poles.
With the aid of the attachment set WM 15805, you can mount the
LIFE-BASE light XS portable system on equipment rails both at the
hospital and in vehicles.
With the aid of the attachment set WM 15806, you can mount the
LIFE-BASE light XS portable system on poles of diameter 19 mm -
40 mm in the inpatient sector.
Optionally, the portable system can be equipped with a shoulder
strap.
