Removal of the seat (liner)
1. Loosen and remove screws 16.
2. Pull off circlip 8.
3. Move butterfl y disc 6 into the open
position.
4. Pull out operator shaft 4, O-ring 3,
bush 2 and washer 9.
5. Remove circlip 11 and plug 10 together
with the O-ring 12.
6. Guide the metal pin into the upper shaft
bearing, then press down lower axis 7
together with O-ring 13.
7. Remove butterfl y disc 6.
8. On one side of the valve, remove the lips
of the seat (liner) 5 from the body seat.
Squeeze the seat (liner) into a heart
shape and remove sideways from the
valve body.

Installation of the seat (liner)
Install the seat (liner) in the reverse order to
its removal. Pay attention to the following:
1. Clean all parts before installation.
2. Depending on version, use a suitable
lubricant for the shafts, butterfl y disc and
seat (liner) to facilitate installation.

3. The holes of the seat (liner) must be in
correct alignment with the locating holes
of the shafts in the body.
4. Move the butterfl y disc 6 into the open
position to make it easier to guide. The
butterfl y disc includes bush 14.
5. Evenly press in the lower axis 7 together
with the O-ring 13 until it pushes against
the inner stop of the butterfl y disc 6.
Then fi t the plug 10, O-ring 12 and
circlip 11. Adjust the lower axis 7 position
with screw 17.
6. Check that the bushes 2 are seated
correctly in the top and bottom hole of
the valve body.
7. Push in the operator shaft 4 with O-ring 3
until it pushes against the inside of the
butterfl y disc 6. Whilst doing this pay
attention to the installation direction (the
single keyway indicates the position of
the butterfl y disc).
8. Insert bush 2 and washer 9.
9. Insert circlip 8.
10. Tighten screws 16.
11. Open and close the valve with a wrench
and check that it is assembled and
functioning correctly.
