5. Turn on the device by pushing the On / Off switch to the I position.
6. Select the desired frequency with the frequency regulator (1–6).
7. Move the device evenly with gentle pressure. Do not exert excessive pressure to prevent
the adapter from tilting or to avoid damaging the device.
Never let the device work on any one point for a prolonged period. This may cause
considerable heat to accumulate and cause damage to the device and workpiece.
Turn the device off at regular intervals (see step 8) and remove chips etc. from the work
area. Let the workpiece cool off before to avoid burns.
8. To turn off the device, slide the On / Off switch back to the 0 position. Wait until the device
has come to a full stop before removing it from the workpiece or setting it down. You can
prevent the device from kicking back, injuries and damage to property caused by rotating
device parts this way.

❐ Always fi rst pull the mains plug out of the socket before you clean and / or store the device.

Check the device and accessories for damages. In the event of defects, the device and
accessories may no longer be used. Do not attempt to repair defective parts yourself. In the
