Mounting and changing sand paper

The sand paper is attached to the sanding adapter with the Velcro strip.
• To remove the sand paper, simply pull it off of the adapter.
• To secure the sand paper, place it on the adapter so that it is fl ush and press it on.

Processing workpieces

Wear ear protection when working with the device.
Wear protective eyewear when working with the device.
Wear a dust mask when working with the device.
Do not wear protective gloves when working with the device.
Wear fi rm-fi tting work clothes when working with the device.
Cover long hair or, if necessary, wear a hair net.
• For sawing projects, mark the line you intend to saw along.
• When sawing metal, you can apply a small amount of oil to the workpiece as a
coolant. This protects the saw blade and leads to better results.
• The device has six frequency settings. The required frequency depends on the
material of the workpiece to be processed. We recommend that you determine
the requested frequency by performing test cuts / test sanding.
The following generally applies: A high frequency and a minimal amount of pressure
stress the device and workpiece less and tend to lead to successful work results.
1. Secure the workpiece you want to process so that it doesn't slip.
2. Secure the desired adapter on the device (see section "Mounting and changing the adapters"
and the chapter "Accessories").
3. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible. Be absolutely sure
that the On / Off switch is set to the 0 position!
4. Always hold the device fi rmly with both hands.
