Behaviour of the door when it contacts an obstacle
Stop with ascent: .......................................................................................
If the safety strip detects contact with an obstacle, the door stops and ascends to the upper end position.
Stop with free travel: ....................................................................................
If the safety strip detects contact with an obstacle, the door stops and then travels for 3 seconds in the UP direction.
Disengaging the safety strip (reversal)
Disengaging the safety strip in the lower end position: ........................................
With the "reversal" setting, a short ascent of the door occurs after contacting the safety strip. This disengages the safety strip
used.
No disengagement of the safety strip in the lower end position: .............................
Note
If an electric strip is being used, Becker recommends that it is not subjected to permanent pressure load-
ing by the door in the lower end position.
Switching Functions of Relay "Rel1"
Function switch "FS1" in the door control system must be in position "A" so that relay "Rel1" can be actuated by Multicard II.
The settings of the yard light functions are performed by DIP switches 1.5 and 1.6:
1Second Momentary Pulse ..........................................................................
When the door is opened and closed the relay emits a 1second momentary pulse (for use with an impulse relay or a staircase
lighting timer).
2Minute Activation (Yard Light) .....................................................................
When the door is opened and closed the relay switches and remains activated for 2 minutes.
Continuous Pulse with prewarning for "Automatic Closing" ..................................
For "Automatic Closing" a warning lamp is switched on 3 seconds before the door automatically starts moving away from the
top end limit (continuous pulse emitted by "Rel1"). The warning lamp goes out at the end limits. If the automatic mode is not
being activated, the warning lamp is automatically turned on when the door moves away from any final position.
Continuous Pulse with prewarning .................................................................
A warning lamp is switched on 3 seconds before the door is moved away from an end limit (continuous pulse emitted by "Rel
1"). The warning lamp goes out at the end limits.
Automatic restart (WZL)
Automatic restart is activated by jumpers across the WZL terminals (e.g. by means of a wire jumper or a switch). After switch-
ing on the control system automating closing only takes place after manual actuation.
Activation of the automatic restart causes the opened door to close automatically after 2 minutes. This ensures that, if some-
one has forgotten to close the door, this is performed automatically by the control unit (see also "Adjustment of the plugin
card to the termination resistance" and "light barrier"). When the light barrier has been passed, the time for which the door is
held open can be reduced to 3 seconds.
Reduction to 3 seconds after light barrier: .......................................................
No reduction to 3 seconds after light barrier: ....................................................
Optional: With the plugin card Multicard II the automatic closing time can be set to the following levels using the "Time Mod-
ule Multicard" (DIP 3):
