Keeps the arc ignited for a short time
while the wire stops. Prevents the wire
from sticking in the weld puddle.
Speed of the wire before arc ignition.
Allows to set lower or higher welding
parameters to improve the bead shape
at the end of the weld.
2 strokes : The crater sequence starts
when the trigger is released and stops
when the crater duration is over.
4 Strokes : The crater sequence starts
on the third action of the trigger and will
last until the trigger is released. When
the trigger is released, the arc stops.
Hot/Soft Start is available only in
4 strokes mode
Allows to set higher or lower welding
parameters to improve the bead shape
at the start of the weld.
In 4 strokes mode only : The Hot/Soft
Start sequence starts when the arc is
ignited and will stop when the trigger is
released. Then the weld starts with the
main welding parameters.
Improve the protection of the bead
before arc ignition.
Improve the protection of the bead after
arc extinction.
For Water cooled version : Answer NO
if an Air cooled torch is used.
