9. Use protective equipment.
Wear safety goggles.
Wear hearing protection.
Use a dust mask for work that produces a lot
of dust.
10. Connect the dust extraction device.
If there are connections for dust extraction,
make sure that these are connected and used
properly.
11. Do not use the cord for purposes for which
it is not intended.
Do not pull on the cord to unplug the power
tool. Protect the cord from hot surfaces and
sharp edges.
12. Secure the workpiece.
Use clamps or a vice to hold the workpiece
firmly in place. This is safer than simply holding
it in your hand.
