7. Assembly
Important! Pull out the power plug before
carrying out any maintenance, resetting or
assembly work on the cutting-off machine!
7.1. Setting up the saw (Fig. 1-28)
Place the saw table on a flat surface.
Screw the feet (18) and the saw table (1) loosely
together (Fig. 5).
Screw the struts (24) for the base frame and the
legs (18) loosely together (Figures 6-8)
Working from the inside, fit the mounting for the
chassis (22) to the rear legs with 4 screws (18).
(Fig. 9)
Mount the four rubber feet (25) on the legs (18).
(Fig. 10)
Fit the metal brackets (25) to the legs (18). (Fig.
11)
Turn the saw upside down and place it on the
legs.
Fit the switch/plug block (11) to the front leg
using 2 screws. (Fig. 12).
Fit the push handles (16) to the front legs with 2
screws (18) in each case. (Fig. 13)
Important: The handles (16) must be able to
move freely and must retract independently. (Fig.
13)
Remove the two fixing screws from both left legs
(18) on the short sides of the saw table (1). (Fig.
14)
Fit 3 screws (F) in the holes of the saw table (1)
shown in Fig. 15.
Remove the right-hand cap of the guide (17) and
push the guide (17) from the left over the heads
of the screws (F) so that the heads slide into the
slot of the guide (17). (Fig. 16)
Refit the cap on the guide (17).
Mount the tool hooks (27) to the front right leg.
(Fig. 17)
For the time being, loosely screw both mountings
(19) for the slide rail to the saw table at the front
left and rear left using 3 screws in each case.
Lugs must point towards the front side. At the
same time, make sure that the extractor hose
holder (21) is also screwed onto the rear
mounting. (Fig. 18-19)
Align the base frame and tighten all the screws.
Remove the transport brace (Fig. 20).
With 4 Allen screws, secure the slide rail (20) to
the mountings (19) in such a way that the rail
overlaps further on the front side of the saw. (Fig.
21)
Assemble the slide as shown in Figs. 22-23. In
doing so, make sure that both spacers (29) are
inserted between the stop rail (31) and the slide

plate (32).
Important: Do not screw the screw in too tightly.
The stop must remain free moving on the plate
for the purposes of angle adjustment.
The clamping lever (30) must be mounted in
such a way that the stop
- can be moved when the clamping lever (30) is
released
- is locked when the clamping lever (30) is
secured.
During assembly, make sure that a spring
washer is placed between the self-locking nut
and the washer. (Fig. 22-24)
Place the slide on the slide rail from the front or
back (Fig. 24) and mount the stop screws to the
rail (20) at the front and back (Fig. 25)
If there is any slackness between the slide rail
and the running bearings, then the lower bearing
must be adjusted using the screw (33), so that
the slide can glide freely. (Fig. 26)
The stop rail must move parallel to the saw table
at a distance of 1 mm. To achieve this, loosely
tighten the screws for the slide mountings and
adjust in such a way that there is a 1 mm gap
between the rail and the saw table in every
position. Now re-tighten the mountings. (Fig. 27)
7.1.1 Adjusting the guide rail for the parallel stop
Move the saw blade (4) right to the top with the
handcrank (8).
Slide the parallel stop (7) on the saw blade (4).
(Stop height for thick material, see Point 8.3.1)
Move the guide (17) so that the zero line of the
scale (12) is directly under the mark on the
parallel stop (7).
Secure the parallel stop (7) to the guide rail (17)
using the eccentric lever (9).
Make sure that the parallel stop (7) is level with
the saw table (1). Now tighten the screws (F, see
Figures 15 -16) on the saw table (1) in order to
secure the guide (17) in the correct position.
7.2 Installing the table length extension (Figures
29-30)
Screw the short side of the length extension
table (10) loosely to the rear side of the saw
table (1) with 2 screws and spacer sleeves. In
doing so, the spacer sleeve must be inserted
between the saw table (1) and the length
extension table (10). (Fig. 29)
Now tightly screw the long table supports (34) to
the base frame and the length extension table
using the holes provided.
Align the length extension table (10) with the saw
table (1) so that it is flat and tighten all the
screws.
