Important: Do not operate the kettle with the lid open. Otherwise, the tempera-
ture control and automatic shut-off will not work properly. Additionally, there will
be high energy loss. It is crucial, that the lid set is installed firmly on the kettle to
prevent the lid set from falling down during pouring.
1. Press the "100°C / Hot Water" button to select the "Hot water" program.
2. Shortly press the "Start/Stop" button to start the boiling cycle. The kettle starts
heating immediately.
With the water at boiling temperature (100°C), an acoustic signal sounds and the
appliance switches to the keep warm function automatically.
WARNING:

Pour carefully and slowly to avoid splashing and spilling. Beware of hot steam.
Avoid removing the lid set for pouring.
3. Remove the kettle from the power base and, if required, wait a moment, until the
water stops boiling. Carefully pour the water. With the lid set installed correctly,
the lid set will not fall during pouring. Ensure not to spill the hot water.
4. If you wish to keep the water hot, first ensure that there are at least 500 ml (MIN
filling level) of water left in the kettle. Replace the kettle on the power base and
SHORTLY press the "Start/Stop" button. The keep warm function will keep the
water hot.
Note
Do not leave the water within the kettle uselessly to avoid excessive build-up of
lime within the kettle.
Boiling water, hot condensate, and hot steam may cause severe
