3. Mounting and demounting of the child car
seat in a vehicle with ISOFIX anchorage
3. 1. Preparation of ISOFIX

- Click auxiliary sliding sleeves (Y)* onto both ISOFIX ancho-
rage points of the respective vehicle' s seat (between the
seat and rear rest).
- The recess has to be directed upwards (detail).(*The auxi-
liary sliding sleeves make the mounting with ISOFIX easier
and protect seat upholstery from damage. If not used, they
should be removed and stored carefully. In vehicles with a
tiltable rear rest, the auxiliary sliding sleeves must be remo-
ved before the rest is tilted.)
3. 2. Mounting of ISOFIX RWF and FWF frames in a car
- Mounting of ISOFIX RWF frame (rear-facing seats)

- Grasp the RWF frame in the middle of its front part and pla-
ce it positioning its arresting arms (T) in front of the sliding
sleeves (Y).

- Slide the frame to the sliding sleeves by slight rotary motion
(to the right and to the left).
- Audible ´ c lick´ sound is heard when the arresting arms snap
in both the ISOFIX anchor points. The correct anchorage of
the arms is shown in the window of the yellow pulling lever
(Q) -detail-. Green colour must be seen in the window.
Caution: Check if the frame is correctly fixed by tugging
at it strongly.

- Now push closely the adjustable supporting frame (W)
towards the car' s backrest. Secure the engaging lever (U) by
the safety buckle (V) (by clicking the buckle' s ultimate po-
sition on the engaging lever -detail-) against unintentional
opening.
- Demounting of ISOFIX RWF frame

- Tilt the safety buckle (V) and click it in its upper (transport)
position on the frame -detail-.
