• Positionner les deux haut-parleurs le plus loin possible à gauche et à droite de
vous afin d'obtenir un effet de stéréophonie optimal, p. ex. pour les jeux.
• Les haut-parleurs disposent d'un blindage magnétique. Autrement dit, il est même
possible de les positionner à côté du moniteur sans que cela ne provoque une
déformation de l'image.
• Si votre carte son dispose d'une prise "LINE-OUT" (Low-level) et d'une prise
"SPK" (High-level), il faut impérativement raccorder le set de haut-parleurs pour
PC à la prise "LINE-OUT".
Les modèles simples de cartes son ISA avec amplificateur ne
comportent souvent qu'une seule prise. Il est généralement pos-
sible de commuter entre Low level et High level à l'aide d'un jump
(cavalier) et donc de désactiver l'amplificateur sur la carte son.
Consulter à cet effet la notice de votre carte son. L'amplificateur
doit être désactivé ; la prise sur la carte son doit uniquement déli-
vrer un signal "Line".
• Arrêter systématiquement le set de haut-parleurs pour PC lorsque vous ne l'utili-
sez pas.
• Même lorsque le set de haut-parleurs pour PC est arrêté, le bloc d'alimentation
consomme du courant bien que cette consommation soit minimale). Il est donc
recommandé d'utiliser une réglette de prises de courant équipée d'un interrupteur.
Vous pourrez y raccorder d'autres appareils présentant une consommation en
mode standby (p. ex. moniteur, ordinateur avec bloc d'alimentation ATX, scanner,
etc.) et donc économiser du courant.

The PC loudspeaker set is EMV tested and meets Directive 89/336/EEC require-
ments. The product, thus, complies with the relevant European and national
regulations. Its CE conformity has been verified; the relevant documentation is
in the possession of the manufacturer.
In order to ensure that this status is retained as well as to guarantee risk-free opera-
tion, it is essential that the user observes these Operating Instructions in full!

Usage in accordance with the require-
ments
The product is intended for the reproduction / amplification of low-level audio signals
("lines"). It can be connected to e.g. the line-out output of a sound card as well as to
that of a portable CD player.
The product should not be operated via a high-level output (e.g. the loudspeaker
output of an amplifier or of a sound card equipped with an amplifier).
Any other usage apart from those described above will result in the product being dam-
aged and is not without risk e.g. short circuit, fire, electric shock etc. The entire product
may neither be modified nor converted in any way whatsoever! The housing may not be
opened. The stickers on the product should be neither damaged nor removed.
